From there, the scent delves into a velvety heart of dense patchouli, interwoven with leathery notes and the spicy floral energy of clove, conjuring a hidden sanctuary deep beneath the surface—Pluto’s underworld, glimmering with gemstone-lit shadows.
In the base, a smoky, animalic warmth takes over.
Labdanum adds balsamic richness, storax lends sweet spicy depth, and castoreum seals the fragrance with a feral growl—mysterious, intimate, unforgettable.
This perfume is one half of a dual narrative. Inspired by the myth of Persephone and Pluto, it explores the masculine, nocturnal essence of patchouli, as its counterpart, Persephone’s Patchouli, unveils a lighter, more ethereal side.

"I wanted to create a dark, furry patchouli—soft and luxurious like a panther’s pelt.
I started with pink and black pepper, with citrusy flashes of bergamot and mandarin to highlight the camphoraceous side of patchouli.
Leathery softness came through mate and birch, deepened by smoky cade and noble woods.
I fused labdanum, resins, and amber-like materials to give the finish a sensual, musky roundness, with floral-spicy clove to build structure and depth."
